Privacy & safety

Practical guides for keeping your public work and your private life apart.

Privacy is not secrecy for its own sake. It is the ability to decide who knows what about you, and when. For people who share adult work online it is also what makes the rest possible.

Anonymity is built in layers: what the camera shows, what your name and contact details reveal, what a platform knows, and who can find the account in the first place. These guides take the layers one at a time and say honestly where each of them stops working.

We write about what we do every day at SOMAS Management, and about what we know of the limits. No tool makes anonymity absolute, and we say so every time. Legal points are general information: for your own case, ask a lawyer in your country.
